What is Grammy Award
Now this is a very interesting question to ask, if you have
been hearing of this or this is the first time of coming across something like
this, it is the most prestigious awards in the music industry worldwide,
presented and hosted by the Recording of the United States and in the same. It began
in 1959 and was hosted in two locations which was California and New York, it
is an annual ceremony which takes once every year. Since it commencement they
are a lot of persons who had won this award, which was formerly called Gramophone.
Looking at the picture above you will notice that it has the horn of a brass
instrument which are the saxophone, trumpet, French horn and the rest.
Nigerian has been left out as it has recorded success in
this ceremony, men and women from this race has won this award, as winning has
never been easy.
What are the processes involved before winning a Grammy
Award
This very crucial for the sake of understanding, few persons
only know of the Award “Grammy “ but has little or no knowledge on how the
processes goes. Being a part of those to perform at the Grammy, you need to be
nominated, the Nigerian artist which I will be sharing with you in this article
where nominated. Which involves choosing a song(s) from your released songs,
and giving a little performance, thereafter receiving the award.
It isn’t easy like I said earlier, as most artist from
different races in the world fell heart-broken or depressed as only a few
persons receives the award. I recall the state of Wizkid and Burna Boy when
they received, it was an unforgettable moment for the duo as they shaded tears
of Joy.
