Flavour Biography, Songs and Awards

Nigerian Singer and song writer, Chinedu Okoli who is popularly known as “Flavour” was born on the 23rd of November 1983 in Enugu State, Nigeria. He hails from Umunze in Orumba South L.G.A, Anambra State.

Music Career

Flavour on like other artist discovered his talent at a tender age, he started as a drummer at his local church. As time went on his church pastor, he was introduced to a recording studio which was known as “SoundCity Communications”.

Flavour made playing drums a profession in 1999 after completing an educational scholarship to study music in 1996. He started playing keyboards, this began after threes of completing his educational scholarship on music.

He rose to fame after releasing his hit track “Nwa Baby” in 2005 which was part of his album “ N’abania”, this song had massive plays on radio stations around Nigeria and beyond. He is noted for his own style and voice, as he is actually into dancehall music which do revolves around “affection”. He has featured many music artist, like Timaya, Zoro, Yemi Alade and the others.

Generosity

Mr. Flavour as he do calls himself once helped raising a Librarian singer to fame whose name was “Semah G” as the duo collaborated on a song which was titled “Most High”. This was a Gospel song which was released in 2015.

When MC Loph one of Nigeria’s singer who can be compared to the likes of Nigga Raw died, he paid tribute to the singer by rendering paying last respect for the deceased singer.

He is currently signed into 2Nite Entertainment.
